Award-winning Funeral Director Trevor Shingler has many years experience in the funeral profession, having trained and worked with national and independent funeral directors, gaining a reputation as a highly-skilled and proficient professional, working hard to  ensure the highest standards of bereavement and funeral care for his clients.

Trevor always pays attention to detail and brings a truly personal touch to his work. He has excellent communication skills and is a good listener. He is committed to giving every client the best possible farewell for their loved-one; rightly believing we only have one opportunity to get it right. Therefore, a funeral must be right and must be unique to reflect a unique life.

In 2021 Trevor was elected a Fellow of the Society of Bereavement Practitioners, an independent professional organisation with members around the world, which recognises commitment and achievement across the spectrum of bereavement care and support. Also, in 2022 he received the President's Award of Merit - the Society's highest award, which was given in recognition of Trevor's outstanding bereavement care and support of the families and individuals in his care, often in the most complex circumstances.

Trevor and his wife Gayle have established T & G Direct Funeral Services to allow him to care exclusively for his clients in a friendly, caring and supportive environment to reflect his character and unique approach to funeral care.
